Dangu Molin Kumar Chakma of 4-Bajeisora MDC Constituency, is the present Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Chakma Autonomous District Council. He was appointed as the CEM on 28\/01\/2025 and was sworn in on 04\/02\/2025.<\/p>\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a>Ordinarily, the Executive Powers of the District Council rests with the Executive Committee of the District Council, which is headed by a Chief Executive Member. His position in the Executive is akin to that of the Chief Minister or Prime Minister and the Executive Committee to that of the Cabinet at Centre or State. Normally the leader of the majority party gets elected as the Chief Executive Member. However, the post has to be contested through election.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
